German distributor sells more than a million copies of Sun’s StarOfiice

Sun Microsystems says that German OEM software distributor Markement has sold more than one million copies of Sun’s StarOffice. The milestone marks
more that 40 million copies distributed to date, and puts StarOffice and its open source counterpart, OpenOffice.org, “as one of the most popular
choices among consumers, enterprises and governments worldwide,” according to the company.
