Todd Lisonbee writes “The Linux Debit Card is a way to generate revenue for Linux and other Open Source Projects. It is a secure PIN based debit card that works with your current checking account. The Linux Debit Card both generates revenue for Linux and is powered by Linux. Every time you use the Linux Debit Card, at no additional cost to you, six cents gets donated to help support Open Source Software. It does not cost anything to sign-up or to use the card. In fact, while generating revenue to support Open Source projects the card can also help merchants save money.

Linux Debit Card is giving away three Linux Workstations next month.

How you enter the Contest:

  1) Sign-up for a Linux Debit Card

  2) Make at least three purchases with your card during October.

At the end of the month winners will be randomly selected. Check out the details.

Linux Debit Card is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help raise money to support Open Source Software.”
