Paul O’Malley writes “A new distro has hit the streets, hungry for developers to help, hungry for its own artists, hungry for all the good stuff.
What is different about this?
It is binary blob free, that is within its kernel there is no closed firmware. It is derived from Ubuntu dapper, as the group is a really small team we ask for help.
Where can you find it.
http://www.gnewsense.org/
There is a press release linked from there.
We don’t to mail at this point, as we are too busy with the rest of the project, fastest way to find us is through IRC. irc.freenode.net #gnewsense
What we need help with is here:
http://bugs.gnewsense.org/
If you can’t do that and can torrent we would love people to join us with that.”
