Wired News reports that Starband Communications will become the first company to offer satellite Internet access, both upstream and downstream. Already in beta test with over ten thousand users, Starband offers 500Kbps downstream and 150Kbps upstream. Radio Shack will bundle the service with new Compaq computers.
