Honesty is the Best Policy
Chuck Talk writes "I was reading an article by Sean Gallagher that proposes a few erroneous outcomes of the recent theft of the Cisco IOS source code by some clever cracker(s). The first thing that struck me was the debatable outcome of the Cisco theft. Is it better for s company to admit to a theft, or to deny reality and not alert customer and law enforcement about such things? The conclusion that seems to be drawn from the headline "Industry: Code Theft's Real Sting is a Black Eye for Cisco" leaves little room for misreading the author's intended message.
