Illinois and Indiana residents who established new wireless accounts with Verizon, Vodafone, and AT&T may get more than a shiny new cell phone. According to this report at MSNBC, the personal data provided by customers on their applications, including Social Security and driver’s license numbers, date of birth, and credit card information were shared in an Internet chat room earlier this month.
