IBM has fired the latest shots in its battle with Microsoft over Linux by offering partners financial incentives and substantial discounts to
encourage businesses to migrate to Linux from NT.
In response to Microsoft withdrawing support for its ageing NT platform at the end of the year, Big Blue has launched its ‘NT to Linux’ campaign,
along with other initiatives, aimed at promoting the Linux platform.
