Linux in Hollywood thanks to the latest General Parallel File System (GPFS),
a “cluster of computing systems with massive storage capabilities and collaboratibe
editing tools for digital content”. The new tools add a middle layer for
content management and a new interface for the desktop allowing content creators
to manipulate digital files from their PC.
GPFS is available on IBM pSeries servers and runs on Linux clusters and AIX.”
