IBm is readying its first Itanium-based workstation and has 200-plus applications cerified to run on the system. The system will hold up to two processors and will be available for Windows 2000 and Whislter, but IBM is also planning to offer the system with versions of LInux from Red Hat, Caldera, TurboLinux and SuSE.
