IBM technology follows 'Intel Inside'

Kelly McNeill writes "IBM hopes to achieve similar results as Intel's "Intel Inside" icon in a new branding campaign that leverages the strategy that brought Intel so much notoriety in a new branding campaign called "IBM technology." Up until now, Apple computer was the only company marketing the Power PC chip to consumers, as it was among the few companies that incorporated the technology in consumer-related devices. Now that the Power PC chip is expanding and IBM technology is available in more consumer devices, Apple may receive marketing support in this area."
