Indiana Linux users may need to restart services

Mark Krenz writes “After the recent switch to DST in Indiana, people are finding that services like crond and sshd continue to timestamp log entries with the wrong hour. You will need to restart some if not all of your system services to make sure that they have loaded the updated /etc/localtime file. This issue will probably also come up next year for the rest of the U.S. when Daylight Savings Time is expanded by 8 weeks in the United States.”
