Radisys unveiled two processor boards and an integrated system at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) in San Jose, CA this week.
According to Radisys, the trio of new products — all designed to do heavy lifting in telecom/datacom applications — include: the industry’s first
dual processor Processor PMC (PrPMC) based on the Intel IXC1100 control plane processor; the industry’s first fully integrated PICMG 2.16, dual OC-3c
ATM-to-IP gateway line card; and the industry’s first fully integrated, CompactPCI PICMG 2.16 platform. All three support Linux-based operation,
Radisys said.
