Intel plans huge cuts in chip prices

Buy the 1.7-gigahertz Pentium IV processor on its April 23 ship date, and you’ll pay $700. Wait until April 29, and you’ll probably pay $350. Other Intel chip prices will drop as much as 60% on that date, too. The Wall Street Journal (via ZDNet) has the story.
