CNET: “The Internet Policy Institute, which analyzes public policy issues related to the Internet,
announced on Tuesday that it was closing due to lack of funding during the economic slump.

“The IPI has accomplished substantive work and successfully raised the awareness of a host of Internet-related policy
issues facing our society,” the institute’s president, Kimberly Jenkins, said in a statement.”
