JD: I’m a Linux hacker who lives in the woods in New Hampshire, in the northeast US. I graduated from MIT, got into Unix kernel hacking in the Unix development group at DEC, before it became a piece of Compaq. Since I left DEC in 1993, I was an independent contractor for a while before cofounding Addtoit.com (http://www.addtoit.com) with a fellow DEC refugee. Currently my time is split between UML work and Addtoit stuff.
