Victoria Nesta writes “TechDOT.com has the exclusive interview with Warren Woodford, the founder of MEPIS LLC & MEPIS Linux. Warren coordinate team MEPIS in a great effort to bring Linux to desktop users. Warren started the project on November 21, 2002. After some more stumbling by Mandrake, He concluded that Mandrake Linux would never be what he wanted it to be. He had already discounted SuSE as not being his cup of tea–although Hes sure there are plenty of people who are happy with it. In his opinion, while Redhat had succeeded with server software, it was obvious that they didn’t have a clue about the needs of desktop users.”
