Interview with Syllable’s Kristian Van Der Vliet

Anonymous Reader writes “After the slow demise of AtheOS, its users and devs got together and created the Syllable OS, based on the GPL code of AtheOS (which in turn, shares a lot of BeOS principles). A year after the creation of the team, Syllable 0.4.4 was released only a few days ago and for the first time it sported an ATA driver and ability to boot from a CD. For a hobby project, Syllable is shaping up pretty nicely and it already has a number of third party apps running on it (about 200). OSNews runs an interview with Syllable’s project leader Vanders and includes a number of screenshots.”
