I’ve heard bad things are brewing at WebMethods: culture clashes with acquisitions and losing deals to Tibco and WebSphere (owned by IBM). It sounds to me like the Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) market is maturing, and WebMethods is getting squeezed. Furthermore, I think it’s possible there could be bad, bad news this December if the company isn’t profitable.
