Danny McPherson is director of business development for Arbor Networks, the driving force behind the Fingerprint Sharing Alliance initiative. This is a first-of-its-kind industry initiative aimed at helping network operators share Internet attack information automatically. The FSA marks the first time companies have been able to share detailed attack profiles in real time and block attacks closer to the source. The FSA also seeks to address the problems of viruses, worms, and other malware. Source:OrangeCrate interview.
