Is It Time to Cleave Linux in Two?

Fires may be easy to start, but putting them out is a different matter. Case in point: the Systemd inferno. The latest flareup? None other than the suggestion that Linux be split in two. "I'd argue that to some degree it has already happened," began Google+ blogger Kevin O'Brien.
