Japan buys 2048-node Linux cluster

    Silicon Graphics
    announced that the Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute (JAERI) will
    introduce an SGI(r) Altix(r) supercomputer as its new core computation
    system to assist in developing leading energy systems.
