TWO of Japan’s leading mobile phone companies are in talks to co-operate with Texas Instruments to develop standardised parts for mobile phones and reduce costs in the cut-throat handset market.
Matsushita, Japan’s leading mobile phone maker, and NEC said on the weekend they were discussing collaboration with TI in mobile phones.
