Joe Trippi was Howard Dean’s campaign manager until Jan. 28 of this year. He was called by The New Republic as the man who “reinvented campaigning” after galvanizing the Dean campaign with astute use of the Internet. In the process, the Dean campaign raised $50 million — more than any other Democratic candidate in history.
