Kiss Technology gets away with Mplayer theft

In the long run, this kind of theft is a bigger threat to Open Source than companies like SCO. SCO, for all its faults, is acting openly, and is ready to have its claims tested in court. Kiss Technology steals, hopes nobody notices, then when somebody does notice, adopts the policy that Open Source developers probably haven’t enough money to sue it, so it can get away with lying to the media.

The news is that there is no further news. Kiss Technology’s steal-and-lie policy seems to be a complete success.”
