Knoppix Review

233
With the last Linux review, I have ventured out into trying another small distro of Linux called Knoppix. Knoppix, like Lindows, is based on the open
source code of Debian.

Knoppix is a fully functional, yet tiny in size distro of Linux that comes fully packed with not only the basic applications, but it comes with a
whole host of tools to maintain your computer.

For those who are uncomfortable with setting up a dual-booting system, you have the option of running Knoppix right off your CD, and little worry
about accidentally erasing your hard drive. The way it goes about it is creating a ram drive where it reserves a chunk of memory to help prevent
slowdowns from happening. If you do like this distro a lot you can install it on your hard drive.
