Larry Lessig receives FSF Award

Bradley M. Kuhn writes Lawrence Lessig was awarded the
annual Free Software Foundation Award for the Advancement of Free Software

today (Saturday 2003-02-08) at the FOSDEM
conference
in Brussels, Belgium. The award was given to him for
“promoting understanding of the political dimension of free
software”. The other finalists were Bruno Haible (known for GNU CLISP)
and Theo de Raadt (known for OpenBSD).”
