Linux cellphones powered by Microsoft software – announced by Motorola

9
There is not yet a time, when Linux cellphones would be any serious challenge to Symbian, Palm OS or Windows Mobile, but they are starting… interestingly Motorola puts Microsoft technologies to their Linux powered cellphones (at first: Motorola A780)! So after palmOne, Motorola is another company that is licensing Exchange Server ActiveSync protocol technologies for use in non-Windows Mobile cellphones! In other words: Microsoft shoots itself in its own foot – such licensing is clearly damaging Windows Mobile cellphones! What next? Symbian cellphones with Exchange Server ActiveSync protocol? Possible.
