Here is a little bit of background info. Good to know I am no Linux guru. I initially got started with Linux to
learn what was going on in the background of a web server I was running. The web server came with this
beautiful web interface, so I really didn’t need to know what was going on behind the scenes, I only had to learn
where to click and what form to submit when I needed something done. The fact that all this worked so well
through a web interface, moved me to ask what WAS going on behind the scenes. I knew this server was running
something called Linux.
