Linux PDA focus group this Friday, 10/12

Jason Perlow writes: “As announced previously, there will be a LINUX PDA focus group held in NJ on THIS Friday afternoon from 3PM-5PM at the North American headquarters of Sharp Electronics in Mahwah, NJ.

If you are interested in attending this event on such short notice please email me back with your personal contact information, including the following:

-short paragraph outlining your programming/software developent experience

Each participant will recieve a check for $100 and a Sharp Zaurus developer kit which includes a Linux-based PDA. Refreshments and food will be served. The focus group will be videotaped and participants will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreemeent and participate on an on-line discussion group for several weeks following the meeting.

We have room for up to a dozen participants, we are looking specifically for those who have developed or program software for Linux, UNIX, Palm, Windows CE as well as for embedded systems. This includes academic programmers, open source project participants and students.

We will be holding additional focus group(s) in 2 to 3 weeks time, so if we can’t take you now, we should be able to accomodate you at that time.
