Linux TCO study methodology explained

Cybersource, an Australian IT company, recently released a study showing much lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for Linux than for a (shall we say) certain popular operating system, based on a hypothetical 250-user corporate environment. In a Linux Journal article, Cybersource's CEO explains how the study was designed and what it means.
