Linux, Windows Can Share a Computer

PCs typically come with a single hard drive. The pre-installed operating system is often put onto a portion of the hard drive known as a partition. That means that a single hard drive is split up into two or more virtual parcels. For Linux to coexist on a machine, it requires two partitions of the system and another for a set of files known as the swap partition.
