ANAHEIM, Calif. — During this week’s EclipseCon, the Eclipse Board of Stewards formally voted through the reorganization that looks to make Eclipse a not-for-profit corporation, independent of IBM.
Under the vote, a multi-vendor board has been appointed to direct new innovations for all Eclipse technology and source code, which will remain Open Source.
