Anonymous Reader writes “A few months ago, Moho by Lost Marble, an excellent cartoon-making software, got ported to Linux (screenshot). Now, a new major version is out for Windows and OSX, 4.5, but the Linux version is still stuck on v4.2. Has Lost Marble drop support for Linux already? I emailed them a few months ago and they told me that while the number of Linux Moho downloads were higher than the Mac OS X ones, Moho still sold better on Mac than on Linux. Do users on other platforms tend to support developers more by buying their software? Does the Linux market suffers from a “free” (beer/speech) syndrome?”
