LSI Logic likes Linux for ADSL2

Linux continues to take a leading role at LSI Logic, as the company rolled out its latest ADSL2 and ADSL2+ capable network processors in the HomeBase
line.

The three technologies – AR902, AR922 and AR942 – partner with LSI’s ADSL2+ capable SpeedReach analogue front-end, the AR8204. The new network
processors are fully software compatible with previous HomeBASE devices and backward compatible to the ADSL standard. LSI Logic offers a choice of
three operating systems, including Windows CE, VxWorks and, its popular choice, Linux.
