Software maker Mandriva intends to release a new distribution of the Linux operating system soon. Mandriva Linux 2007 can be used with either the Gnome 2.16 or KDE 3.5.4 user interfaces. Among the programs in the package are Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.7 and OpenOffice.org 2.0.3, as well as BitDefender, VMware Player,and Skype.
