MeeGo Community Update and Metrics for December

In most communities, December is a relatively slow month, with many people taking time for the holidays, and MeeGo is no exception. We had a slightly slower month than usual in the community during December, but not by much.

Metrics Overview as of December 31:

• Members of MeeGo.com: 18,178 people (was 16,979 last month)
• Mailing List subscribers: Dev = 5044; Community = 4063; iL10N = 2952; SDK = 3384
• Mailing Lists: 4191 posts this month; 277 people posted 2+ msgs
• Forums: 1170 posts. 175 people posted 2+ messages
• New Bugs Created: 1156; Bugs Resolved: 1364

Active Users: Estimated at 800 – 1000 people.

• Wiki: 876 Active users per week (796 last month) (suspect this number is not accurate)
• Mailing Lists: 426 people with unique email addresses posted (462 last month)
• Forums: 349 people posted at least one item (478 last month)
• Bugzilla: 518 people performed some action (476 last month)
• IRC: 490-540 people logged into #meego simultaneously most days
