Metrowerks, Motorola’s software tools subsidiary, has added kernel-level debugging capabilities to its development tools for embedded Linux
environments with the launch today of the CodeWarrior Development Studio, ARM ISA Edition for Linux Platform Development, Version 2.0.
In addition to its support for ARM processors, Metrowerks soon expects to extend Linux kernel-level debug capabilities to other architectures,
including Motorola’s PowerQUICC and ColdFire embedded processor families.
