Microsoft attempts to wrest Oxford University away from Linux

Microsoft is making a concerted attempt to persuade Oxford University to switch from its all-Linux infrastructure to an all-Vole back end, according
to one of my boyfriends on the prestigious English campus.

Last week, Mageek'o'Berlin reported that Bill Gates, Microsoft's CEO, who appeared from behind a curtain a bit like the Wizard of Oz and then
disappeared again in a puff of hype, burbled on for what seemed like hours about how well the Vole was doing at Cambridge University - the other
ancient English garden of learning (academe).
