Microsoft deal cements Burney’s hold on Corel CEO’s job

Derek J. Burney was
named president and
chief executive of Corel
Corp. on
Tuesday, a position he
had held on an interim
basis since August. The announcement comes fresh after an investment deal with Microsoft.
