Madhu writes “Microsoft Corporation is unveiling a new edition to its MSN search engine with an interesting technology. The new search engine will search and find information from the internet as well as the user’s hard drive.
This move by Microsoft is mainly done to compete against search giant Google. Industry Analysts report the hard drive search feature by search engines will be the next major step in the search technology.
MSN Vice President Yusuf Mehdie demonstrated the new search engine on Thursday and according to online reports, the results were instantaneous.
