Microsoft, DOJ still miles apart

According to a joint status report filed with the presiding judge, Microsoft, the Department of Justice, and 18 U.S. states are still miles apart on some issues regarding how the antitrust case should proceed. While all sides seem to agree on procedural efforts, discovery and scheduling issues remain. Microsoft, right or wrong, wants as much time as possible to, as one observor put it, “…put off the day of reckoning as long into the future as it possibly can.” Read the report at ZDNet.
