Anonymous Reader writes “It’s a very rare occurrence when you hear a company representative publicly say, “Hey, steal our stuff!” There’s obviously a difference between “stealing” free stuff and stealing stuff that’s for sale, and it’s quite a biggie. In some cases, depending on the ways in which companies monetize their products, if they’re going to make any money, then they need to receive payment from their users for the products that they provide. This concept is so simple and has been at the foundation of business for so long that it seems like a no-brainer, so why would a company following this methodology encourage people to steal from them, and what sort of company would be tangled up in such a saying?”
