Microsoft ex-VP plans Linux product in India

Paul Maritz, Microsofts ex-Senior Vice President, is
planning to develop a next generation software that “targets the
coming changes in the way information is stored, retrieved and viewed.
The framework is initially targeted at the Linux environment,”
according to a media statement from the company, PI Corporation.
Maritz has founded the company (PI stands for Personal Information)
and funded it along with Warburg Pincus for an undisclosed
multi-million investment.
