Microsoft hits back at Linux in the Middle East

Anonymous Reader writes “Microsoft chose the Gitex show last week in Dubai as the occasion to launch a broad critique of the Linux operating system. Far from being free to the user and cheap to operate, Linux can prove an expensive mistake, says the Windows giant.

Microsoft executives also point out that Linux users have to agree to share any code that they develop themselves with other users. This is the open architecture environment.”
