Microsoft releases security update for Internet Explorer

Anonymous Reader writes "Microsoft Corp., world's largest software maker, has released a patch for Internet Explorer, the company's browser, to fix the security hole. The patch prevents spreading of malicious code via its browser, IE, to the local machine.

It is noted that the patch does not entirely fix the bug, but it helps stop hackers' ability to spread malicious code."
