Microsoft's Ease of Use vs. Linux' Sweat Equity
Author: Wesley Parish
Kelly McNeill writes "There's an old saying which suggests that if you repeat something often enough, people will eventually believe it. We are so inundated with the news of Windows's "ease of use" that we have accepted it uncritically. Whether or not its true is up for debate, but far too often too many people take this information as gospel without even exploring alternatives. Wesley Parish submitted the following editorial to osViews which explores this way of thinking and compares Microsoft's "Easy of Use" to Linux and other operating system's "Sweat Equity."
