Microsoft’s Ease of Use vs. Linux’ Sweat Equity

We are so inundated with the news of Windows’s “ease of use” that we have accepted it uncritically. Whether or not its true is up for debate, but far too often too many people take this information as gospel without even exploring alternatives.
