“A month after stepping into the Linux market with its LX50 dual-processor, Intel-based server, Sun Microsystems is introducing a Linux app for desktops. Sun, spurred into Linux action by similar moves at Dell Computer, Hewlett-Packard, and IBM, hasn’t released details about the software. That’s supposed to happen Sept. 19 at the SunNetwork Conference.”
