Mozilla.org clarifies security reporting procedures
"The publicity flap around Mozilla was not because the browser had a security flaw or because it was not fixed in a timely manner. There was the perception that Mozilla.org was not concerned about fixing the problem. There was also the matter of a "bug bounty" that the reporter appeared to be due. To prevent this from happening again in the future, Mozilla.org is taking measures to clarify and repeat the proper process for filing security bugs." MozillaNews has details.
