The net’s under attack (through MS SQL servers)

Peter Kis writes “As LinuxGear.info (and others: 1, 2, 3 etc.) write, there’s a worm obviously affecting MS SQL Servers and using them for random DoS attacks (via UDP flooding though port 1434, ms-sql-m) waging war on the net. The forum entry on forums.military.com mentioned above says 5 root servers are down, other users report that in the Los Angeles Area 95% of the web are gone. This seems to be one of the biggest attack on the web ever.”
