“Briefly noting that: “More than two dozen countries in Asia, Europe and Latin America, including China and Germany, are now encouraging their government agencies to use “open source” software…” the New York Times (NYT) article devotes more space to tell Microsoft’s point of view.
The article tellingly fails to reveal any details about the interest in or takeup of Open Source software around the world. But it’s long been said of the NYT that, if it didn’t happen in the US, it’s not news.”
